Step 1
Preheat a grill or broiler to high heat.
Step 2
Slice the baguette into 1cm-thick rounds and brush both sides with olive oil.
Step 3
Grill or broil the bread until golden and crispy, about 2 minutes per side.
Step 4
Dice the tomatoes finely and combine with garlic, basil, and a drizzle of olive oil.
Step 5
Prepare the lentils by seasoning and cooking until done.
Step 6
Rub each toast with garlic, spoon on the tomato mixture and lentils, season with salt, and serve.
